Mother’s day

I love my mom to the moon and back and she loves me, so of course, she deserves the best things here in life. Don’t you agree?

I don’t know about you guys, but to me, my mom is a goddess. She gave life to four annoying (but good looking) kids and raised them to love and respect everyone in the world. No matter where they come from or where they are going. If that isn’t an awesome mom, I don’t know what is.
But the question is; what do you give such an important woman in your life? I know that today is mother’s day, so getting her some of these things might not be easy, but there is hopefully still next year.
I have created a list of things that you can give your mom to make her feel special and loved. Not everyone can just go out and get expensive things and you shouldn’t. You have to give something that means something, so this is both tips and things to give.
- Tip: Listen to the things she says throughout the year. Many times will the name of a perfume she loves, or something she looked at, or even something she lost come up. Use this to show you listen.
- Buy: If your mom, like mine, loves a very specific brand of perfume and use it daily or maybe just fell in love with the new one of the same brand, get her that.
- Tip: Flowers are always a super sweet (and for the money-savers, cheaper) way to show her love, but a bouquet dies super fast, so maybe get her a plant for the garden or terrace instead. That way she will be able to keep it longer and always remember.
- Buy: This is more on the pricy side, but save up and give her the handbag from the designer she dreams of. My mom loves Louis Vuitton and she takes very good care of her bags, so giving her a designer bag would mean something special.
- Tip: If you are super crafty and not like me and my kindergarten level, make her something, something she can use. Jewelry, kitchen tools, furniture, you name it. It will be special and she will say “oh, and this was made by my baby. I love it so much.” to all of her visitors. Nailed it! (literally even).
- Buy: Makeup and beauty products can be super expensive and when you know that she only uses this one eyeliner or that lipstick or something, make her a “restock” present. She won’t have to buy makeup for a long time and will relax.
This was just a small list of things to do and buy for your mom (or moms. I don’t know if you got more than one) and give her on “her” special day. Remember to love her, because (normally) you only have one mom and she loves you very much. Happy mother’s day and stay safe.

I wish I could give my mother just half of the things you talk about. I might have to save up quite a bit first.
