A Little Splash of Pink

No matter how much you love blue, purple, green or yellow, you will always have a small love for the color pink.

Pink is maybe the only color we girls look at as the ultimate girly girl color.

This is the color we grew up being told was a girl color, Barbie would always be in pink, our baby dolls wear pink, pink, pink, pink.

But this doesn’t mean we are glued to the color all our lives, quite the opposite actually.

We hold on to the color on a more loose level, being an accessory, a pair of shoes, a piece of clothing, room decor, or daily equipment. The color tells us something about ourselves depending on where it is.

If you are a sporty girl, it might be on your workout outfit, water bottle, towel, and bag.

If you are a working girl, it might be decorating your office desk and accessories on your outfit.

Or maybe a foodie girl that loves to cook and bake, which could mean the kitchen equipment, your apron, and even your table setting.

Or maybe you are a pink girl, like me. For me it is everywhere, from my bedding, to my bathroom. My office to my closet.

But what exactly is it about the color pink that makes us love it so much, because baby blue is a cute color too.

I personally feel like the color is a way for us to let out this inner girl that loves cute things.

The girl who grew up with Barbie movies, wanting all the many lives.

It’s the color of innocence to many females, because that is the color of our childhood, and no one can take that part away from us.

So own the color like there is no tomorrow and a little splash of pink to your everyday, like nails, headwear, scarfs, shoes, gloves, bags, clothes, even the travel mug for your coffee or tea in the morning.

Add a little splash of pink to your office with the table mat, office supplies, flowers and pot, picture frames, you name it.

Pink should never be looked at as the color you hide, but instead celebrate, because it has been a part of your life.

So go out and add that little splash of pink, because you deserve it, and always remember to stay safe.

Kisses.
