Some days can be a bit harder than others, but those are the ones that are the most important. this is the time to take good care of yourself.

I woke up with cramps this morning, like many other ladies like me do every month, but we always keep out heads high and hide the pain. But maybe this month, or even better, this year, we should take care of ourselves when this week arrives.

I love treating myself on normal occasions, such as holidays and Birthdays, but never have I thought about treating myself when this weeks come around.

That’s why I think we should change that. We all know that is will happen, I mean it’s completely natural, so nothing is wrong with that.

Then I get that some might have to go to work, but after/before work, you should treat yourself.

First of all, dark chocolate is like every period girls best friend. Why you might ask, well, that’s because dark chocolate contains magnesium and even more importantly, potassium. Dark chocolate, peanut butter, and banana are your best friends when cramping, because they help the muscles work and reduces the pain.

Secondly, a nice, warm, foaming, relaxing bath. Many will say having a warm water bottle on you during camps help, so maybe taking it that step further and make a luxury bath for yourself.

After that, all you have to do is curl up in something warm an comfortable, maybe even cuddling with your man (or woman… Love is love) and watch a movie while eating whatever you are craving.

I normally don’t support just going crazy about what you eat, but during a period is an exception. So if all you want is chicken nuggets and pineapple, then that is all you have to eat. This is the only time you don’t have to think, just treat yourself.

You are worth everything in this world and deserve to feel like you are important, so treat yourself in this small moments and remember to stay safe. Kisses.
