A New Chapter Begins

As 2024 comes to an end, are we all ready to step into 2025 with confidence, an open mind, a pure heart, and a clear conscience?
2024 has been a year full of new door for me, allowing me to grow and find my true path on the long road of life.
I believe that taking the time to sit back and look at not only the bigger picture, but also the small details, helps show you something about yourself you might never have seen before.
And though I never understood the point of new years resolutions as a child, it has become more realistic with the years.
But how do you make the right choices, as to not fall off the track right away? Well, to start, make sure that your resolutions are small, but still opens the box. Don’t force yourself to follow a full on diet, if you know you can’t keep to it. Instead choose to eat smaller portions and add more healthy parts to every meal.
A spinach omelet is easy and tasty or maybe a salad for lunch, and no, I do not talk about a handful of lettuce with dressing, but a real filling salad. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, crispy onions, chicken breast, bacon, croutons, and a nice dressing. This is my go to salad when I want a light lunch or dinner.
Another thing might be working out, which is both time consuming, but also needs for you to be motivated. This can be helped by having a workout partner, or make other choices, such as taking an exercise class a few times a week.
I myself have found that if I dance, I will be active a great deal more, than if I had to workout in a gym. And riding my bike around the neighborhood is also a nice treat once in a while.
Simply make sure you decide for you and not for what others think would be best for you.
Stepping into 2025 means a new chapter in my life, a chapter I will go into more detail of as the year goes on, but for now, I want to wish you all a most wonderful new year and i look forward to seeing you all on the other side.
