Let’s Share

There is no better thing in the world, than to share a warm feeling of being thought of, even if you don’t know them.

A few years ago, I started something called #sharemychristmas with a handful of amazing people.

Over the years more have started to join this little act of kindness in a time of sharing the love of the world.

I created #sharemychristmas to give something to others without asking for anything back, as I made sure to turn this into something anonymous.

As November just started, I see no reason not to get the message out again and hopefully have so many more join in on this beautiful event.

To join, all you have to do is these few steps:

  1. Buy or make some Christmas cards, the amount is all up to you.
  2. Write a small caring message of great wishes for the receiver. E.g. May you have a wonderful Christmas and a joyful new year.
  3. Sign the cards with #sharemychristmas as the only thing. If you put your name, the whole anonymous part is ruined.
  4. This next part depends on your personal budget. Some may want to join, but can’t afford to send out the Christmas cards, but do not fear, as this is about sharing, not about spending.
  5. You can now seal the cards in some envelopes and do two things. One is to leave them in random mail boxes around your area/town/street. Another is to go online and find random addresses in your country or another, sending the cards to someone you don’t know to share the love at Christmas time with someone who might not feel it.

The whole idea is that the more people sharing, the more people in need of this love will be reached, which will bring hope and joy back into their lives.

No matter how young you are, yes 70 is also young, receiving a Christmas card always feels like a wonderful thing, even if you have no idea who send it to you.

I hope to see #sharemychristmas become even more known this year so we can share more love with the world.

May you all have an amazing time on this journey and stay safe.

Kisses,

Micala.
