Sleep Tight

It is no secret that sleep is very important for the human to get a better start on the day, but how do you help yourself get a great start on the night?
My sleep routine doesn’t change very much from day to day or season to season, but one thing that stays the same is the element of Lavender.
You can think what you will, but lavender is one of the best scents to surround yourself with for a good nights sleep.
I personally also love the scent of lavender, so for me it is very easy to use it all the time; hand cream, body lotion, shower gel, defuser oil, even in my night time cup of tea.
I do realize that it does sound like a bit much from my side, but I just really love the scent, and element of lavender in my life, so let’s simplify the use a bit.
Defuser is an item most of us have in our home now a days, so why not make it a helpful tool for your perfect sleep.
A few drops lavender oil into the defuser and turn it on as you lay in bed, relaxing while reading a book or watching videos online.
This small step will help the tiredness fall over you and sleep come close.
If you like me prefers to shower/bath before bed, this might also be the perfect time to add a bit of lavender to your life.
From shampoo and shower gel to bath salt and body lotion, you can get lavender almost everywhere these days.
My standard shower gel isn’t lavender, but if I’m traveling or have had a long day and need to get a good nights sleep, I use it.
After a long week, a bubble bath, with a bit of lavender bath salt is also a great end to the week and way to start the new week rested and feeling great.
The skin needs love and attention, so a good quality moisturizer with lavender in it will be a very good choice to both benefit your skin and your sleep.
When it comes to enjoying a nice cup of tea before bedtime, adding a bit og homemade lavender syrup might do the trick, but make sure that the tea you choose is a herbal tea that is good for sleep, such as camomile.
Make sure to sip it slowly and enjoy it so it doesn’t feel rushed or like a burden for your system.
A good night sleep is what helps your body relax, your mind restart and your smile stay on, so let the true beauty shine from a true smile, enjoy the night and stay safe.
