Step Into The Shoes

Making the choice to be 100% yourself is not always the easiest choice, but it will always be the happiest choice that you will make.
Over the last couple of years have fashion been a great love of mine, but something has been missing.
A small detail that made it feel right, which is why silence have been falling over my blog for some time.
I have been taking some time for myself, trying to figure out what it is that makes me happy about fashion and what it is I love about fashion and so on and that it finally hit me.
I have a strong love for being creative about fashion as in making things myself, which is also why I have started redoing my whole closet in homemade items….
I will be honest, so far I have only made a super cute floral skirt in a pleated design, but I still intent to make so much more.
Another thing that has finally found it’s way back into my life, is miniature.
As a little girl, my mothers aunt would always share her love for royals and miniature (and dolls especially) with me, which became a huge love of mine, but sometimes as you get older, you focus more on what others think about what you like rather than what do really like.
This was my first mistake, since you should never let others tell you who to be, ever.
Since January have dance also reentered my life, but in a way I have never tried before.
I have started dancing ballet…
Yeah yeah, I know what you are thinking….
Isn’t it a little late to start ballet, but to that I will say “it’s never too late to try something new”.
I have only been doing this for 2 months, but I am already super invested in it.
I love everything from the outfits to the moves, feeling so light on my feet and still so powerful.
The future of my blog will definitely take from these things in my life.
My evolution in sewing, my fast building passion for ballet, my weird yet very comfy obsession with toys and miniature….
I literally just personalized a Barbie ballerina doll to sit on my shelf.
I hope that you will join me on this new chapter of my life and find some of this as enjoyable as I do.
Kisses,
Micala.
P.S. My content on this blog will change a great deal, since I have found that creating is far more fun than simply observing.
