Spring Cleaning

No matter how clean you are on the daily, you still need the full on trip twice a year, so why not get it started?

Spring cleaning to me is more than just getting into the nooks of the house, it’s also about cleaning through the everyday things, such as clothes, shoes and accessories.

Many of us have more clothing items then we will ever need in our life, so maybe use this time, going through your big, or small closet and really ask yourself “will I ever wear this dress I bought 6 years ago that is super cute but was too itchy?”.

Someone else might not find it itchy and want it more than you, so donate it. This will make you feel good and, as I said, someone else happy.

Now for the shoes.

I know how amazing most shoes feel when you walk around in them because they really are used, but what about the pairs, hidden away because they hurt too much or are too tall or painful to walk in?

Why not give them a new life with someone who might actually use them.

I personally love heels, but can’t walk in the once that are very tall, like stilettos, but I have seen others that walk amazingly in them, so they can have them.

Then we can’t forget all the old makeup and all the accessories we have.

You should always consider throwing out the old makeup and get something new, even if you feel like it still could work and it’s too expensive just buying new when there is still so much left.

For me it’s about changing mascara, eyeliner gel and lipsticks, but eyeshadow and powders have never seemed to me as the worst when used for too long. And since I don’t use foundation, that won’t be a problem for me.

Accessories are more of a hard choice, since a lot of it can go well with something and you never really outgrow an accessory, but still go through, because there might just be something you realize you don’t want or need no more.

Now, don’t you feel better after really emptying out in all the stuff just taking up the space, mostly because now you have space for a lot of new stuff.

Remember to shop responsibly and stay safe.

Kisses.
