Queens of March

Everywhere, everyday, every month, is queens born, but since I’m a March queen, why not turn March into the ultimate luxury month.

I have this thing where I make myself feel like I’m very important in March. It is my birth month, so why only say “Birthday week”, when you can say “Birthday month”.

So this week is a focus on my skin, which I’m going to share with all other queens out there.

I love feeling good and when you take good care of your skin and hygiene, you feel really good. Thats why I make sure to take care of my self all year, but with just a bit more luxury in March.

So let’s start from the feet; A nice foot bath so soften up the skin, then file off the tough skin. Now time for a nice foot scrub.

If you like me love a nice homemade sugar scrub, then here is a super easy one, which you can make right before;

  • 1 cup sugar.
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil (Any type of vegetable oil is usable, if you don’t have coconut oil).
  • 25 drops of essential oil (whatever you like, use. I like mint and eucalyptus).

Put the sugar in a bowl, mix the oil in little by little and the essential oil. If you want to save it, just put if in a jar. That’s all you have to do.

Now the legs. I personally don’t shave my legs, but plug them. They feel smoother for a longer time in my opinion and it takes longer before the hair grows out again.

So I make sure to plug whatever hair is showing up on my legs before using the sugar scrub on my legs. I will inform that this sugar scrub in a full body scrub and if you know that you want to use it on the whole body, just make a bigger portion of it.

And yes this can also be used on the lips, since it’s completely eatable and doesn’t contain anything unknown.

Now that out legs are soft and smooth, I scrub the arms and hands, and then on to the face.

My face gets a full on scrubbing too (yes I do say scrub a lot today, but there is a lot to scrub haha) to remove all the dead skin. I do a small steam face bath, which can easily be done with a bowl, hot water and a towel. Just fill the bowl with hot water, hold your face over it with the towel laying over your head to keep the steam in.

Not that all the dead skin is gone and we feel all new, it’s time to moisturize legs, arms, and torso. Grab a foot mask and a moisturizing face mask and relax until you have to remove them. Just massage it in water removing the masks and have a nice long nap or sleep, depending on when you do this (I prefer before bed, even making sure to change the sheets in the morning so everything is super fresh).

Now all you have too do is enjoy how good you feel and look and remember to stay safe. Kisses.
