Knit & Knee-High

One of the best parts about dressing for the fall and winter is how easy it is to still wear a short skirt, as long as you know how to layer.

One of my absolute favorite outfits of fall/winter is the long, slightly over-sized knitted sweater and a pair of gorgeous knee-high or even thigh-high boots. It feels amazing and you look even better. The funny thing is actually, that you can wear almost anything, as long as you have a nice pair of long boots to pair with. A short plaid skirt, a turtle neck, and high boots. No one is gonna tell you that ain’t winter fashion (unless you forget a jacket).

But then some might not feel as “warm” only wearing short skirts, so don’t mistake that Jeans and pants can be dressed up just as amazing. A turtleneck, a pair of tight jeans, and some nice boots can look super amazing. Or maybe a knitted cardigan over a top and jeans.

When it comes to clothes and dressing stylish, you also have to feel like what you wear shows what you want it to. Are you a “ready to party” type with lots of energy, then wear a skirt and some thigh-high boots. Are you more the comfy laid back type, then jeans is what you feel good in. Or maybe you are a bit of both and then rock both styles, but maybe not on top of each other. It can easily end up looking a bit confusing.

We all love dressing nicely and feeling good, but it’s very important to remember not to copy everything you see, but rather get ideas and then turn it into your own version. Remember to stay safe and be you. Kisses.
