My Sunday

Sunday. The universal day for relaxing and having “me time”. Sleeping longer, walk slower, and all in all, take everything a bit more peacefully.
A girl and her bed on Sundays are an endless love affair.
Waking up Sunday (not always morning) morning, just feeling relaxed, knowing that this is a day all for you. At least for most people, I guess. If you have your “Sunday” on a different day of the week, then we can just call it “meday”. I do work some Sundays myself, but for most of the part is it in the evening, leaving the morning and afternoon free to relax and enjoy my life a bit. It’s a small break from work.
So what to use this lovely day for. Well, many might think that I use it as a fashion reboot day, but this might be the only day in the week where fashion stays in the closet.
Today is used on simpler things in life. For starters, I don’t change out of my PJ in the morning. No, I wear my PJ for as long as possible, enjoying the comfy feeling of not waking up to be prof. I might not sleep all day (funny enough have a thing for waking up early every day of the week) but I can stay in bed as much as I want to.
My breakfast is super unhealthy since this is kinda my “be free” day. I eat a big bowl of cereal for breakfast and whatever I feel like for lunch. I normally end up eating a sandwich for lunch, but I’m free to do that.
While enjoying my big bowl of cereal, in my PJ and oversized morning hair, well, I love to watch cartoons. A super childish thing, I know, but it makes me forget all the “grown-up” things I have to get back to tomorrow. It’s like a fun escape from reality.
Remember to take time out of life to care for yourself. You can’t rule the world if you can’t recharge. Stay safe and enjoy your sunday, beautiful.

I love that you remind people how important self-care is. And cute that you watch cartoons still. Might convince the husband to do that with me in the morning.

Hmm, I could use a Sunday right about now.
